How we use AI

We use modern AI tools to help with research and first drafts, the same way we use a spellchecker or a spreadsheet. They make us faster. They do not make our editorial decisions and they do not have the final word.

• A named human reviews and signs off every published page. AI never publishes on its own.
• Our content is general information, not medical or health advice. Nothing on Her Vitals is a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a substitute for a qualified clinician. Always speak to your GP or pharmacist before starting a supplement, especially if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, breastfeeding or taking other medication.
• We do not publish fabricated clinical claims, studies or reviews. Figures, health claims and study references are taken from primary or authoritative sources, or they are left out. We do not let an AI tool invent a citation.
• AI does not decide what the evidence says. Where we describe what a supplement may or may not do, that reflects guidance from bodies such as EFSA, the NHS and NICE, weighed by a named editor, not an unchecked AI summary.
• Personal data handled by AI tools is processed in line with our privacy notice and UK data protection law.

Our use of AI is guided by UK data protection law and the ICO's guidance on AI and automated decision-making. Where AI could affect a reader, a person stays in the loop, in line with the direction of AI regulation such as the EU AI Act.

Named authorship and editorial standards

Every page is written or reviewed by a named person and dated. Our editorial coverage is led by Oliver Mackman, our editor. We publish independent editorial and information, not paid-for rankings, and where we earn affiliate commission on a product we link to, that is disclosed. Fact-checking and sources

Before a page goes live, health and product claims are checked against primary sources, not other websites. In practice that means:

• Nutrient and health claims checked against the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).
• Clinical and public-health guidance taken from the NHS and NICE.
• Company and operator details verified against Companies House.
• Product details, dosages and ingredients taken from the manufacturer's own current labelling and documentation.

Corrections

If something is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Email [email protected] with the page address and what is incorrect. We respond within two working days. Material corrections are made and noted in a footer line on the page so the change is visible.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with our content or service, we want to hear about it. Email [email protected] or write to Best Business Loans Ltd, and please include your name, how to reach you, and what went wrong.

We acknowledge every complaint within five working days and aim to give a full response within four weeks. Her Vitals is an information and editorial service and does not sell, dispense or prescribe supplements, so a complaint about a specific product may also need to go to the retailer or manufacturer that supplied it; we will point you to the right place if so. For anything about your own health, please speak to your GP or pharmacist.

Your data

Her Vitals has no lead forms and does not collect enquiry data. We do not sell your details to anyone. What we hold, why, and how to ask us to delete it is set out in our privacy notice and cookie policy.
