Accessibility
Her Vitals is read by women looking into their health, hormones and supplements, often quickly and often on a phone. We build the site to be calm, clear and easy to use, so the information is simple to find and read. This page explains the features that help, the standard we aim for, and how to tell us if something is hard to use. The site is information only and not medical advice.
Features to help you
- Search. A search box sits in the header on every page, and there is a full search page and a site index that lists every page in one place.
- Plain English. We avoid jargon, write in plain language, and explain terms where we use them.
- Readable design. Clear type, high contrast, generous spacing and clear headings, with no pop-ups or auto-playing media interrupting your reading.
- Keyboard and screen readers. Pages use proper headings, labels and landmarks, and a skip link, so they work with keyboard navigation and screen readers.
Our aim
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard. We are not perfect, and we keep improving the site as we go.
